Movement

Movement (or in fact not moving) has an effect on more than just posture. The musculoskeletal system and fascial system are not the only systems that are prevented from efficient functioning when you remain in one position for a long (or in fact not that long) period of time.
Whilst the communication between brain, body and fascia (which can act a little bit in between the two) means that these systems are not working alone the key system that might unlock some secrets for you is the metabolic system (from cell to digestion and back again).
When you sit for 30 minutes or more at one time your metabolism SLOWS DOWN...making this one of the reasons you can't out-train a lack of activity during the day.
